Role Objectives
The role holder is responsible for driving the General Trade Business for given geographical area in line with the ABP while being responsible for developing and managing distribution network.
Role Responsibilities
- Assigning & tracking of Primary and Secondary sales targets to team and review periodically.
- Efficient utilization of man days through creation and monitoring of beat plan for SO and TSI.
- Plan and review sales effectiveness on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Effective execution of Go To Market strategy.
- Conducting category & market wise analysis & designing action plan to drive sales.
- Supervising sales promotion, retailing & merchandising activities.
- Responsible for managing, training & mentoring sales officers & acting as super trainer for TSI.
- Evaluate and measure performance of territory, major towns, distributors and key outlets in terms of sales growth.
- Distribution network expansion to drive sales growth and regular checking of distributor’s financial health and NOC on monthly basis.
- Efficient stock management at distributor points & handling C&FA.
- Responsible for managing claim settlement for the assigned territory and sharing sales tracking reports with the RSM/ZSM.
- Effective implementation of sales management system and ensuring adherence.
- Tracking competition and sharing market intelligence with the central team on desired frequencies.
